ABOUT USTAZAH NIGHAT HASHMI
Ustazah Nighat Hashmi is the founder and Chairperson of Al-Noor, Pakistan’s renowned Islamic education and welfare organization, established with the objective of promoting character building and behavior modification among Muslim youth in the light of teachings of Islam. The organization has now successfully graduated millions of students since 1996, published hundreds of books addressing the social, moral, and religious needs of the society and is now helping over 4 million families across Pakistan.
Ustazah Nighat Hashmi is a teacher, Islamic scholar, social entrepreneur, author, and former lecturer. She is recognized worldwide for her in-depth knowledge of the teachings of the Quran, Hadith, Seerah, contemporary issues of women and detailed study of Islam as a way of life.
She has translated the Quran into the Urdu language. Her best work is the Quran an Ajaba (Tafseer of Quran in Question & Answer form).
